New Delhi, April 26, 2025, Advocate Satyam Singh, Personal Legal Advisor to Shri Raju Bista (Member of Parliament) and Advisor to the Medical Association, has been officially invited by the National Commission for Women (NCW) to participate in an expert meeting for the “Law Review 2025-26” consultation process.

The meeting, scheduled for April 26, 2025, at the NCW Camp Office in New Delhi, aims to review laws affecting women and recommend amendments to address gaps in existing legislation. The Commission, established as a statutory body in 1992, regularly conducts such consultations under its mandate to review legal and constitutional safeguards for women.
Advocate Singh, known for his expertise in high-profile cases including the RG Kar Medical College case, Tirupati Laddu case, and Paralympic case, will join other representatives from the legal fraternity to formulate recommendations for viable amendments to laws concerning women’s rights and protection.
The expert meeting will focus on selecting priority topics for the Law Review 2025-26 based on dynamic opinions and suggestions from resource persons like Advocate Singh.
The National Commission for Women continues its mission to review and analyze the position of law affecting women in India and formulate consolidated recommendations for viable amendments to strengthen legal protections.
